Helmet Cam?

here is a quick youtube vid to give you an idea of westy...straight forward big water but it can still eat your lunch. Westwater vid!

Was wondering, did you use a helmet cam or something? I saw in the end you said it was a Pentax W10...I just got a Stylus Tough 8000 and am wanting to make some whitewater vids this year and curious as to the best way to do that while keeping hands free for the oars and the passengers hands free for holding on and not losing my camera...any advice would be much appreciated!

Have you considered the "A" and "B" sections of the Green below Flaming Gorge Reservoir? It's a beautiful canyon with huge fish and camping on the "B" section. Oh, and no permit required. The rapids are all minor IIs with one III-, Red Creek, that's a pretty straight-forward rock garden. Tons of wildlife, a gorgeous semi-wilderness setting and family-friendly water. The only downside, depending on the time of year, is a lot of drift boat traffic. And, the shuttle road from the end of the "B" section to Little Hole is pretty rough and steep as you climb out of the canyon.
