State Bridge

Hi All, Looking for a mellow (Class II or less) short day float with my 6 year old niece next weekend. Looking at the stretch below State Bridge. However, I think Catamount bridge might be a bit too far. Anyone know of reliable take out before that would make for more of 4 hour or so float? On Google maps, it look like there may be some possibilities. Alternatively, any recommendations?
I see flows are about 1000 cfs right now at Kremmling. Any concerns with flows on the CO?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

You could put in at Yarmony bridge just below Rancho del Rio and float to the new take-out the BLM made if you go after next week. See this thread for details:

Or you could float from Cottonwood to Dotsero. Not quite as pretty but a nice mellow stretch. That would probably take 3-4 hours at these flows.

You could tube this stretch safely as an adult if that gives you any idea of how mellow it is. At these flows some parts are a little bony and you'll have to avoid rocks here and there but is otherwise fine.
