Gremlin, just trying to visualize, thinking about the river at work... anyway, so you used an upstream ferry angle and pulled toward river left away from wrap rock after you went right of pourover, correct?

That's what I did, and it worked well. Gremlin's cat has less surface area touching the water since it has no floor. the holes in a SB floor actually increase drag, so a cat can move across the river much more easily than a SB. The move he used might be dicey for a raft. At 1200 I don't think his move would have worked in the little 13' SB I was rowing. The girl who used the late pivot move (an accident as it turns out) was rowing a 16' SB. You'll see your line once you scout it.

You are visualizing correctly but after angling and pulling left, I turned and went through ass first tucking the oars. I learned about the new rocks on the ramp and didn't scout it. I haven't been back because the level dropped and 1600 cfs seemed close to the minumum flow I can squeeze Supercat through. Might try this weekend.

Flow is at 1690 near Dotsero now lets hope it comes up a bit more.
