sea kayaking alaska info

Long time WW kayaker, 1st time sea kayaker...

I'm looking for a good source of information for planning sea kayaking trips in South Central Alaska. I just moved up here from CO and I'm planning on paddling around Aialik Bay in June. I need to familiarize myself with all the weather and sea/tidal conditions of the area and with sea kayaking in general.

Any good web sites / books reccomendations would be greatly appreciated. Everyone seems to want to charge me $175 to share these closely guarded secrets.
