SI to MH in 3 or 4 days will be fun, hot and no prohibited Camps.
Some Camps have shade but you want to have some of your own.
River Left is Indian land and you will need their permits to hike and or camp. Bring toys to dig and mess in the mud and sand for the 3 year old.
LOTS of sun screen and other lotion for dry skin, the San Juan dries the hands and feet faster than any other river I have been on.

Any Day on the River is Better Than----
