Any locals know if there's any water flowing in these parks? Son and I want to drive down (from COS) and do some practice laps today, but don't want to bother driving down if there's no water.
Honestly I don't think any features are in at the Salida park at this low of flow. I think the main hole is too ledgy and shallow to do much.... they have gates up though and people have been working on slalom....
Staircase wave at the Buena Vista park serves up flat spins and low-angle carwheels at this flow, but is too shallow for a loop still. Lodo wave can be flat surfed and that's about it....
Thanks all. Plan was to hit Monarch for the races then drop down into Salida and CC for some laps for fun. Couldn't make the races so was just gonna go down tonight and lap tomorrow.
Guess I'll keep waiting.
