Memorial Day weekend will definitely be a zoo - launching on Sunday, you'll be taking your chances on which camp you'll end up with. As discussed in other topics recently, although there is a sign-in sheet at Loma, not everyone takes what they've signed up for and I would say many of the boaters will be laying over until Monday, so it's pretty much a crapshoot . Good Luck!

Most people will bail mid day Sunday. We were out there Sat night, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday......starting Sunday afternoon we were the only people on the river except another party. Tuesday.....we had Black Rock all to ourselves and did not see another soul the entire was very peaceful!

Memorial Day Weekend is usually crazy. I've done it, but we launched early on Thursday. By Friday, the place was packed and stayed that way until Monday afternoon. I would try to get there early and stay away from blackrocks if you don't want to deal with the crowds.
