We did it, I think 3 years ago when it was 29.500 through Westwater the next day. We launched at Loma and were at Westwater in 6.5 hours. We did not try and camp as we wanted to get to the westwater ranger station that night. No rapids or anything to worry about. Just a fast float. We thought it was great. Sorry, but I can't help on the camping part, but the water was great.

Ran it last weekend @ 40+, not tons of sites available, we talked to the ranger at the put in and he suggested a few options. We camped at the last black rocks, or what we could see of them just fast float liked previously mentioned, but nice. Njoy

Again all comments are helpful! Could you find campsite markers? I assume they were under water. Highest we ran it was 30,000...more concerned about campsites and debris. WIll let you know how it goes

Campsites at Bull Canyon and Black Rock #9 are always high and dry
