Ruby Horsethief at 20,000-30,000 ?

Anyone have any info on what its like at high flows? Is it still ok for beginner kayakers?

yes, okay for beginner kayakers. swirly water at blackrocks, and a fast run. like five hours total

Yup, totally fine for beginners. My 7 year old son did it last year in a hard boat with no skirt at 21K and was fine... minus black rocks section.

Major swirlies at black rocks and strong eddy lines. not hard at all but swims could be long.

I'm planning a 2 nighter, looks like it might be just under 30k, any beta on camp site conditions at high flow? Seems like Cottenwood might be some what washed out.
