Row the Poudre this weekend?

Any of you rafters out there interested in running Upper or Lower Rustic (or both) on Saturday? Looking for a few other oar rigs to run with.

we're running it as a paddle raft

I'm taking a paddle raft down the upper rustic on saturday. You're welcome to join us in the oar rig.

I predict a small swarm of kayakers to be following us down as well.

I was planning on oaring upper and lower Mish on Saturday and Sunday. Never have done Rustic how is it? If its not to hard I would be game.

i've only done the upper rustic at this level....its pretty much 9 miles of Class III+. Water is chilly and fast. A nice break if you've done the lower sections a lot.

Leery - what time are you putting on? Have you run this stretch before? This year?

Ecarlson - From what i've read/heard/seen (never rowed it), Rustic is easier than Upper Mish. Upper Rustic

we're still putting the details together, but I'm guessing we'll put on around 10 or 11.

Dude - I'd love for you to join. I think Leery is talking about a swarm of kayakers with him so the more the merrier.

Leery - I could be at Steven's Gulch (I come the back way from Lyons) by 10:30-11am. We could head up from there.

I trailer my rig so I'd pretty much be ready to launch as soon as we get to the put-in.
