That sounds much better! We saw a raft that went left at the top, wraped in the fence.Lucky they lived to tell about. The raft didn't do as well.

Sorry Echo I'm not in charge of invitations or you'de probably be on breakfast duty. I watched lots of Youtube videos and the right line on Blossom looks like a very good option at these high flows.

The right side of Blossom will be easy. Springer fishing is always slow even when it is "hot". Crater Lake is a must see. The weather will suck.

7-Day Forecast for Latitude 42.57N and Longitude 123.61W (Elev. 1594 ft)

For big trout try the Williamson R., Wood R and Klamath Lake near Chiloquin, OR
Real adventure is only one bad decision away.

guys trip... I would hit up medford's tittie bar. bloody buddies and girls are always good before a 3 day sword fight... they open up 10:00 AM. i'm sure you could buy one to take down the river also.. I would take 2 if it was me. gold beach sucks. tweekers everywhere
lock your shit. 40+ year olds riding BMX bikes. ha haha. go north. Crater lake blows, tourist trap. ashland is a killer town to meet up with your buddies, 15+ bars in town.
good people= good times

fishing... half pounders will be in the middle section.

Felon - Are your pups going on the Rogue with you????
Send a trip report when you get home. I'm sure by mid-July when we launch it will be a lot different?
Have a blast !!!!!

Cataraftgirl-No dogs on this trip, I was planning on taking them but the high water flows have changed those plans, too bad because they'de make great company on the road trip and on whatever other water I hit while out there. Plus Hanna was going to be able to see her old boyfriend Lokey.

I'll post a trip report for you.

Thanks for the info Kaya and WadeinH20

On a side note: I'm disappointed Rogue Brewery isn't on the rogue river- 2 days till roadtrip 5 days till launch, any other last minute advice?

Not to worry!... this is Oregon, the only thing that out numbers the breweries are the coffee houses (is this heaven or what?) And by visiting the Caldera Brew pub in Ashland you can ease the disappointment of the Rogue Brewery being in Newport.

I believe Caldera is one of the few microbrews that comes in a can.

Caldera does their Pale Ale, IPA, and Ashland Amber in cans. You can buy it by the case right at the Caldera Brew Pub, but Shop-n-Kart grocery store in Ashland sometimes has it cheaper (sale price $5.98 a six-pack). Enjoy!
