Roaring Fork / Crystal weekend (6/9-10)

If the flows on Slaughterhouse are above 1,000 on Friday, thinking about driving up from the Front Range for the weekend. Looking for partners -- either RF-valley locals or folks who'd like to share a ride from the Front Range. Never done anything on the RF before, but comfortable read and running class IV water.

I live in Golden and I could leave either Friday night or Saturday morning. Would like to return afternoon Sunday. I can drive my car, but with boats and gear I'm capped at 3 people total.

Slaughterhouse is a bunch of fun even if the water is not up. Got semi-skunked memorial day weekend. Flows were 500-600 cfs, and it was still a great time. Took the playboats and splatted and boofed every nice rounded rock I could find. Good times.

If the flows are up check out castle creek while you are up there. Really nice boulder garden easy creeking.
