Richmond VA boaters....

Hey Im from Richmond Va and recently purchased an Aire Puma. Looking for other boaters of all types to link up with and paddle. I have been paddling canoes and sit-on tops for quite some time and am new to rafting. Just looking for some paddlers that are reliable and fun to hit the water with. Hit me up of anybody is interested.
Thanks.
Nick

lax-

z-dam is a half-mile upstream of pony pasture, and it is a good kayak playspot where you can throw ends and looping is easy.

as far as the rebar, there is a bit down there in the middle...and a lot of sharp rocks and concrete chunks. i don't know about rafting but flipping in a kayak is not recommended. i think it is better on river left side going into the area by browns island after the pedestrian bridge to belle isle and the old trestle right there at first drop. have fun.
