Rancho Del Rio to State Bridge???

Hello,

Looking to take my girlfriend out this weekend and wanted something nice and flat, with maybe a few small waves. She's been on moving water once, so I need something that’s not too crazy...or she may decide to up and quit the sport before getting started.

Anyway, wondering if anyone has done that little stretch and if it’s good for what I'm looking for? If not, any other suggestions?

'crazy' and this stretch of I-II water are by no means synonymous. People sup this section, so it doesn't get much more mellow, other than rowing Sylvan Lake.
