I've run Glenwood to South Canyon in January before. Wherever you go, if its before March be wary of any continually shaded places as that's where the ice dams develop. Think low altitude and open terrain. Or Mexico.

We did New Castle to Silt onn January 8th couple of Bony oh no were stuck spots but in that section there is alot of sun exposure for some reson the gate to the South Canyon boat ramp is closed, I did not look to see if it was locked but I have not seen much activity there
