Poudre - worth bringing a boat Sat. 3/21/15?

I'll be in Fort Collins on Saturday morning and was wondering if it's worth bringing a boat. The gauge says 199 at the canyon mouth, but I don't know what this means for boatable flows.

Are locals running anything? Narrows laps?

What about the class III stuff further downstream? Is it still considered kayak-assisted-hiking at this point?

Any local insight is much appreciated!

The new gauge at Hewlitts Gulch isn't online yet from winter but my best guess is the water is not at the narrows unfortunately. Most likely it is coming out of the NF and therefore would be in the Filter Plant only. Filter Plant attainments at this level could be fun or you can definitely scrape down it with some semi-deep fun eddy lines to play in. There is over 100 cfs being released into the NF so if you subtract that there's at most only ~100 cfs in the canyon, probably less at the narrows.
