Poudre, Tue the 15th.

I'm wanting to head up to the poudre during the day tomorrow and wanted to hook up with any boaters doing any stretch. I'd like to run the lower narrows to to get ready for the beat down I'll receive in the pine creek race though nything else will fly also (well, not the upper narrows... I don't want that kind of beat down yet). I'd like to paddle between noon and 5 if anyone has the day off.

The beat down in lower narrows at 4 feet on the rock is far worse than anything you will find down on pine creek. Dont come up to FTC and expect a crew to want to boat with someone who wants a gnarlows beat down. Right now you'd want to style that or not run it at all. But I'm sure there will be plenty of people that would pull over to watch. Swim may mean death up there. Just swim through pineview on the Poudre right now to prep for pine creek. Good luck.

Perhaps my language was too glib. I was under the impression that at this high of a level the lines widen and a good deal of the pin hazards are just simply covered. Didn't to ruffle and I do know when not to run. I'm still wanting to paddle somewhere up there if anyone is going out in the early afternoon.
