It's almost time for the Piedra, planning a trip apr 16th or 17th, the flow i imagine will be perfect! Kayakers and rafters absolutely welcome. respond or call me if you are interested, (970) 903 0476!
What do you know about the road? Not a whole lot of snow that direction but I imagine it is still closed. I want to do it this week, almost a thousand today.
I imagine that the road will not be open, mud and such, but I haven't checked it out. yeah the flows looking good, probably going to be a short season, we'd better get on it
The road is closed so it would be a long day. I'm in for tomorrow or potentially this weekend if my UT trip doesn't work out. It is supposed to be 73 at the take out tomorrow, but weather moving in for the weekend according to noaa. I’m trying to rally some people so let me know.
For all of those that expressed interest in joining me on a piedra adventure this sunday, regrettably I think I'm going to have to cancel. Due to cold weather, the level has dropped below what I would want to run, and the weather outlook does not look good either, with nightly freezes in the basin, which will prevent the river from coming up significantly. Perhaps the next weekend will be better
