I might be into it Sunday Bob. Weather doesn't look too nice, but quite frankly I am getting tired of skiing powder and want to boat....bad. I have to work Saturday morning. Lets touch base about it Saturday afternoon if your still interested.
Have you been in there or spoke with anyone who has been yet this year? I looked at Fractions yesterday and there was lot's of ice still..... I don't want to be the first to go in the Gorge, and find ice...
Just spoke with a friend who works on the train. He's not a boater, but has been down there with me a bunch. He said there was still a significant amount of ice, but he thought you could get a raft through, but it would be tight in some places.
Parkdale had significant ice shelves on the second half of the run below Shark’s Tooth last Sunday. One spot at Double Drop had just a four foot opening.
