Paddling Thursday

Who wants to paddle tomorrow (Thursday)? I'm thinking something around Golden, preferably Bear, if it's still going. Anybody know anything about Turkey? That might be fun, too. Post or give me a call if you are open and want to do something between 8:00AM and 1:00PM.

Turkey is probably worth a look. Temps in the foothills have been dropping below freezing every night, so it's not fully on yet. Visual from 285: it's as high as it's been all season.

The G-Man and I went and got the goods on Turkey today. Felt like between 80 and 100 cfs. And Kaleb, you are one sandbagging son-of-a-bitch-bad-ass-motha-fucka. Class IV my ASS! But it was fun, I had a good time. The big drops were sweet, the mank in between was constant willow-bashing. There's a log across the river a little past halfway (I think); you can't see it from river level 'til it's almost too late. A few inches above water level=no going under, no going over. This was a little sketchy, I managed to grab a fortuitous branch hanging over bank on the left and give a holler to G before he started down the drop. BE CAREFUL, THIS LOG COMES UP FAST!!! Got tests tonight so I can't paddle Bear with you guys

P.S. Pictures are coming.
