45 minutes hike-in to a day:)
If you are at all interested in future packraft trips in the Grand there's a new guide, Grand Canyoneering by Todd Martin. Best guidebook I've seen.
It highlights hundreds of hikes from the Dam to the Lake. He has included gear lists, rap lengths, etc. Not all of the hikes require rope. In general, starting at Lee's Ferry the hike-ins are 45 minutes(Jack-Ass) and grow from there. Definitely Past Phantom one can expect the seriousness you saw in his awesome photo albums. Probably the easiest hike-in, packraft, and hikeout would be the Jack Ass to Soap Creek. 45 min in 15 min packraft and 1.5 hr hikeout.
What dates are you looking at? I'd be in to the Tatahatso to Emminence portion or the Emminence slot?
