We ran proving grounds yesterday...well, I didn't exactly. Snapped my paddle in half in the first big drop and ended up having to shoulder my fuggin boat all the way out of there. It sucked.

As we were starting some yocal guy came running up screaming that there was a logjam that we wouldn't be able to make it through. But i think the only thing of concern was a huge full grown tree all the way acrossed the creek, you'll notice several signs just before it.

There were some older no trespassing signs followed by Yellow "Dangerous Logs, portage ahead" signs that somebody was nice enough to put up. It was pretty obvious to see coming though.

How was it at the current flow. Worth it? Low? Good?

Your mileage may vary. I guess we felt it was worthy. Well the other two did, i dont think it's worth it if your going to portage the whole canyon.

It's definitely on the low side but everything goes ok. Lots of little fucker rocks.

I think were going back this afternoon to get revenge. I'm still trying to recover from carrying my Grande out of there though.

At 270 it was fun but nothing to write home about. Definitely not big but no longer manky either.
