Northgate Shuttle?

A buddy and I are thinking of runing Northgate this weekend, put on Friday morn take out Sunday? We were thinking of stretching it out and doing some fishing on the flater sections below six mile. We are still dialing in our plans, looking for someone that might be willing to run a shuttle with us and we are always game for folks that know the run and want to show us the way. We will be runing my 14' oar rig and a ducky. We drink alot beer at camp if that offends anyone.

call north park anglers and ask them who they use for shuttles. there's been another guy posting on here about offering shuttles for the platte. don't know what he charges or how to get ahold of him.

bear in mind that there's a lot of private land below 6-mile, so once you pass pickaroon campground, you're committed to another 18 miles. i floated 6-mile to bennett with a friend saturday/sunday. the fishing wasn't that great. the river's still really off color in most places, so dry flies are not much of an option. streamers didn't move many either.

Yep I think I know of the posts you are speaking of... I call the number he left in his post and left a message on Sunday..no response yet. I also called some outfitters in saratoga and they quoted me 120$ for a shuttle and for that price I will ride my bike or we will drive 2 vehicles. Thanks for the heads up. Anything else we should know about the run from last week?
