Newbie looking for ideas

First of all thanks for any and all help and adivce.

My childhood friends and I (33yrs old now)are in the beggining stages of planning a 3 day whitewater/camping trip (for the summer). We would like to raft in Colorado but have no idea on where a good spot is.

We are avid outdoorsmen (country boys). We dont want flat calm nor crazy hard. Just somewhere to have some fun and camp in the wild. We would need to rent gear. Any ideas on a river?

Thanks guys and let me know if you need any additional info.

yeah the Upper Colorado outside kremmling

you will want to look at anything starting at Pumphouse

If you have no whitewater rafting experience you will want to be aware of Eye of the Needle rapid, Yarmony rapid, and Burns rapid (if you go that far down river)

American Whitewater - 03. Pumphouse campground to Rancho Del Rio, Colorado Colorado, US

American Whitewater - 04. State Bridge to Burns, Colorado Colorado, US
You ARE a soul, you HAVE a body.

Thanks again

Cisco to Moab would be much better for you. Not as technical Lots more options for camp. Way less people. Plenty of whitewater fun for you in Professor Valley. Boat rentals in town (Moab). As well as a days closer drive. 3-4 days Float, Or 3 days with an overnight camp (2-days) Dewey Bridge to town Bridge.
