The closest whitewater to you will be Elkhorn Creek in Franklin County (class II), and other creeks in that area run after heavy rains.
Rockcastle River Narrows near London (III-IV)
Big South Fork on the Cumberland Plateau near Oneida, TN (III-IV-) Lots of creeks and rivers on the Plateau.
Russell Fork on the KY/VA border is one we hit up a lot. Gorge is class IV-V, Upper and Lower sections are III. Dam and free flow, fluctuates a lot.
