Need stick time

Just upgraded from 2 man pontoon to a dory and looking to get some time and experience. Still water options frozen so thinking of Cottonwood to Dotsero tomorrow. Is it reasonable for the maiden voyage? I've floated the 2 man on the Green, San Juan quality water down to Rainbow several times and a section of the Snake just in the park at Teton and Gray Reef.

Assuming there isn't any ice in that section the float is easy especially at the lower flows. There is only one rapid that I remember and it is caused by an irrigation diversion on river right about 3/4 of the wy down the run. That is a fun section to float and fish if Sheepeater creek isn't mucking up the lower sections of the river.
