Best fishing and rapids float by far right now is the Green river A, B, C section below Flaming gorge dam. Water is running at medium flow (~1,700 cfs) and is dam controlled so it will have some consistency. Great camping and about 10,000 trout per mile (no joke).
This is a good class II-III fun float. Good one for you and the buds.
I agree on this, BUT they are going to release to 6000 this weekend for up to 5 days. So fishing is going to be disrupted a bit. Boating will be faster too.
My (and a few others
) place is Pumphouse to Catamount. Water will be low, but the fishing should be OK. Lot closer to the FFR too.
