Multi-day for Memorial Day???!!!

I'm racking my brain trying to figure "PLAN B" out as our planned trip on the Dolores is not looking promising right now due to obvious reasons.

Where else can one go within reasonable distance from Carbondale, CO for a multi-day rafting trip?

Some rules of the trip:

1. Can't be more than a class III - dogs and some greenhorns on trip.

That's it! Please help as I am spending way too much time on the interweb trying to figure this out!

We have done Pumphouse several times and are itching for something new and different.

Is the Rincon to Pinnacle Rock a good bet? Is it along the highway the whole way like Pumphouse is to the train tracks?

Thanks Buzz!

We are having the same dilema, although have not fully given up on the Dolores yet. Have you looked at either Cisco to Moab or Ruby/Horsethief?
Where is Rincon to Pinnacle Rock? I'm not familiar with that. We are Mom, Dad, 7 year old girl and Black Lab. If you intersted in getting together for a trip let me know, we are looking for others to add to the river mix.

Dominguez canyon on the Gunnison is mostly flat with a little Class II. Put-in at Escalante and take out at Whitewater.

I haven't boated them, but I'd suggest the White River below Rangely or the Yampa above Maybell.
