Moab Daily with wife?

I am going to be around Moab this weekend. I am itching to get a boat in the water, and was considering bringing it along.

It is my understanding that this is a class I/II scenery/beer drinking float... right? Was thinking about renting an IK for my wife and bringing her along if it is mellow enough. Is there anything resembling a class III or something that might flip a IK?

Thanks for any info.

There is certainly a possibility of flipping a ducky and the water will be cold. She needs to be prepared.

I used to guide out of Moab and yes, there are a couple holes that can flip you if you hit them right (wrong?). Like Gremlin says, the water's cold.

The moab daily is probably more like class II+ right now. Tourist who have never even seen a river before duckie the daily day after day without flipping. Although some tourist do manage to flip their boat and lose all there stuff. Stay way left in whites rapid, and avoid the small hole river right after "big sandy" beach, and the pourover rock in-between saltwash rapid and all day eddy. You'll be fine. Have a good time.
