Ill put in my chit also. 29 y/o male with a 16' Jag with a 10' aluminum gear frame. I can go solo and haul your junk. I have only done the MF once in 2007, and we had a really crappy time, (Life flight, sutures, 2nd degree burns, ect) so I would like to cash in on my Karma that I hope is owed to me by the MF. I'm kinda local (Boise) and can help with details if needed. I have a gear trailer also, and dont mind driving out that way with some people if needed.
Im a practicing paramedic in Idaho and did alot of FF and rescue stuff back in the day, but Im hoping that we wont need any of that.

Depending on where you are putting in, I may need help over the first 20 miles if I am really loaded down, but it didnt seem THAT bad last time, middle of July '08.

almost full

It looks like we've just about filled up all the spots, just getting confirmations now. I'll post an update if we get some people bailing out or anything!

Middle slamon permit

Hi, my name is Aaron and I am a 27 year old ex raft guide from the arkansas. I do own a 14 ft raft and a lot of gear, I took it though the grand last summer. I also have been kayaking for over a decade and am a solid class 4 plus boater that goes down class 5 as well. I am currently not working and have pretty much spent the whole summer hitting up new rivers. I have always wanted to do the middle fork but have yet to pull a permit. I really enjoy river trips and can hold my own on cooking, camping, and contributing to the group. I also enjoy beer and all that a good river trip has to offer. It would not matter to me if you needed me to raft, but my preference is always kayaking. I also have a friend in silverthorne that has 15 ft raft as well that might be able to come if there was space. I think it is really cool that you opened up the trip so people will have the oppurtunity to see a new river. If you have space or someone drops feel free to email me at or call at 720-235-7040.
Thank you
Aaron Wamsley
