If you are before the peak runoff then watch out for hazards- logs etc and beware of rising water that usually bring detritus. Look at the curves from last year it can rise really abruptly. You will probably be ALONE for the duration with no chance of assistance. That can be a shitstorm if it goes down like that

Make sure you have exposure suits and plenty of rescue experience

But on flip side just a wonderful river

Sounds like a cold trip but you will probably be before peak as peak seems to be late may typically. snow camping night one may be a possibility.. I kayaked the MF May 28 launch at marsh creek in 2008. first night was snowing and camping between 3' drifts. rest of trip was warmish and big water fun. It will be high water and potential cold weather yet doable for a skilled boater. As a safety kayaker I highly advise sending a pair of skilled kayakers in the front of your party to scout logs on marsh creek. develop a good plan and expect minimal to no boat sized eddies in marsh creek. Sounds like you could be the first trip of the season send a report for the late may boaters por favor.. road to marsh ck is paved and open.
