We will likely be 10 adults and 4 kids, 4 rafts and some duckies.
Any help or experience with flying into Indian Creek would be greatly appreciated.
Catagirl has it about right. An Islander would work just fine. You won't make it in a single 206. I like MF Aviation but it's not bad to have two engines if your whole family is in there.
Oh wait it looks like you will fly your whole trip in. I read it wrong. I thought you were looking for one plane to carry 2 A, 2 kids plus gear.
Looks like you are looking at least three Islanders. They can carry up to nine people, but several seats must be removed to get coolers, frames and rubber (plastic) in.
We brought in a small sweep boat, three 16 footers and five guides in three Islanders one fall.
A thought: any reason you can't run nearly empty rafts down to Indian and meet the kids and fam there?? We have much better snowpack now and you should be able to easily make it one long day all the way down. Or take two days to be sure.
Maybe logistically it's easier to fly all depending on travel dates etc.
It can definitely be challenging getting down to Indian with loaded boats. With empty boats it becomes pretty easy to get unstuck at least. This would depend on your low water skills of course.
