Lower East River

Has anyone been down the Lower East River recently from CB South to Almont? I heard there might be some strainers in there and I was wondering if that is true?

there is some wood present but no overly dangerous ones or riverwide ones right now. the roaring judy bridge is getting tight and the sneak around the fish ledges has a logjam in it and is a no go fo now. otherwise its good to go, people are running it quite a bit. i could be talked into doing it tomorrow if anyone wanted to?

I can't really paddle it during the week, due to working for the man. I would be interested in doing it next weekend. The Gunni-town run is good for after work and I'm usually into it. PM me for my number.
