just got report on upper....

There were a quite few that went down, even a small raft that R2 it. Well, low for sure, tree down fully limbed just before boulder creek, heads up, can get around it on left channel. Will be more of a problem when water comes up and moves or just gets covered. After Boulder Creek there are two logs no limbs jammed in middle of river, can get around either side. They forgot shop camera in there Van so no photos...

Just got out of the Upper Blue. We were the ones R2 in my 11ft. raft. Low and slow but doable. Nice to be on the water though.
Good to see you guys out there.

Will be fishing it Friday and Saturday. Look for either a gold Dodge or a dark red Isuzu (methinks) pulling a blue cat if you want to hook up for a shuttle.

Hit Upper Blue this afternoon. Lots of water trickling in from everywhere, enough to take that crystal clear water from the dam and make it milky. Did 2 laps, thought it was fun, some surf, bony in spots for sure. Felt like 350 does in fall when there are no feeder creeks running. I prefer it to Lower Blue at current flows. Would recommend that people use the dirt pull off just north of Blue River Campground as the put in. Its just bony flatwater above there. Also, that water is seriously cold, and I've been paddling all winter, and it was 50f today.

I'll be up there @ 8-8:30 @ the put in. See you there!

Anyone got a spot on a boat or want to jump in my boat for a lower blue fish tomorrow? the guy I was going to go with just backed out and I have the day off tomorrow.

let me know- happy to spend my fair share of time on the sticks (more fishing for you), and I have run this stretch many times. If we take my boat I would ask that you can row, so I can wet a line too.
