The Canyon of Lodore's too beautiful a place to sprint through. After all that work and travel to get there, not going for the full amount of time seems like a waste. If there's nothing pressing, go for 4 days, like nicho says, if you can, talk to the rangers and see if you can get 5 days with a layover someplace wonderful. It goes by too quickly. You'll also have much longer days on the river.
The new Seacliffs camp is a nice beach the size of a football field that's been reclaimed from the tammies. Once upon a time it was a rocky coastline on the ocean like the coast of Maine or Oregon.
No one ever says, "I wish I'd cut my vacation short" on their deathbed...
