There was no way our rigs were driving down to the water, the ranger wouldn't even allow it due to so many trucks getting stuck before we were there. We had to carry 10 rafts, 2 duckies, 1 kayak and gear for 19 people for 5 days from the end of the concrete ramp to the water. It was about 150 yards at that time (in May, low water, before they starting releasing). Definitely made our launch much later in the day than we had planned, so be sure to plan for this if the water is low. Have a great trip!

my apologies as well suz,
if your launching or on the river 8/26-30 and see my red boat come on by for a cold one...

Thanx again for the info alex. For me the mapquest shows the time being a little longer going thru rock springs than vernal, but since you're on the ground there I'll take your word for it.

Do you go home the same way from Jensen after the trip?

more snow = more water

I had been laughing at the hijack, but it's all good.

Perhaps you will catch up to us (an armada of duckies with one raft). We launch on the 24th of Aug.

Can't wait!!

Btw....DNM just mentioned on their Facebook page that Jones Hole trail is closed at Ely creek as of now,due to some hefty rocks peeling off in that area
