The Fremont River was running between 80-100 cfs this past weekend, it was higher Saturday than Wednesday (the days I was there) but there was more than enough water to float.
The class V run from Hwy 12 to the CG might be a hair low, but the Park Run from the Hickman Bridge Parking to the Cathedral Valley Ford is good to go, it's mostly class II with a few small III's. Portage the waterfall (the NPS has closed it off recently to protect us from ourselves
) but thats about it. You will scrape some but I think you will be surprised how fun it is. Its a gorgeous canyon and there is just enough excitement to prevent boredom.
There is a lot of snow left on Boulder Mtn/1000 Lakes/Fish Lake Plateau (not percentage of normal, but just what fell this season hasnt melted much) so flows should continue for a couple weeks. If it gets really hot, it may go a bit quicker.
Other than that, youre pretty shit outta luck. Escalante is too low, and the Paria isnt runnable that high......which leaves.....? Do some extra slots instead.
