Kayaking 4/12-4/14... looking to carpool from Denver, in your ride.

Looking to go kayaking this weekend. I can leave Thursday evening, and need to be back late Sunday (or 4am Monday, for a worthy trip).

Where are people paddling and who has truck space to rent for gas money?

If the Salt permit stays available, I'd consider splitting the costs on that with a group of 4 or more. Or a San Juan from Mex Hat down. Or a section of the Yampa. Maybe the White River. Or bottom section of the Dolores if it gets a spike. Hell, any section of the Dolores. Marsh Creek through the MF Salmon?

Where are people boating this weekend?
...besides Westwater. I need something different.

Depending on which day you are here I would rally a quake lap with you if you are around Kyle. Good luck buddy

If you come up Montana way the Yaak, Beartrap and Quake combined might be worth the drive depending on how bad you are fiending.

It's hard to believe Gore + Cross wouldn't deliver more bang for your buck though.

Glad to see paddlers from Steamboat, Montana, BV, and Laramie are ready to rally. Cross does sound very good. Montana sounds a bit cold for the super long drive.

Back to the original question though, is anyone from DENVER (or Golden, Boulder) going kayaking this weekend?

Gore Saturday.

I would like to carpool to Goar Saturday. I live in wash park in Denver.

I have a Tocoma that fits 3-4 people.

I am also happy to pay gas and ride in another rig.

Happy to meet at the T-Rex lots on I-70 as well.

Lets go kayaking!

Last weekend the Gore and Cross combo worked well with a stop at strawberry HS to boot. I am considering doing that again Fri- Sun. I am also open to other options of similar distance or quality. Robb

Been wanting to get on the White and Dolores Cutch. If either of those is on the agenda I might be able to borrow enough $ to make it work.... Phil sounded like he might be game (his computer is down at the moment), and I got a couple other locals that might be interested. Sounds like the weather is going to be great. I was kinda thinking even a Ruby-Horsethief float with a hike up Rattlesnake to the arches would be worth doing just to get outside in the lower elevation, warmer temp regions...
