Ice in Gore?

I know it's early, but all this warm weather has people thinking.

I called BLM Kremmling and was told pump house is still still snowed in and getting in and out there would be a challenge in and of itself.

Anyone else been around the area for a report?

Anyone have a contact on the railway for a visual from the track?

Sure would be nice to see more snow...

We were in there the first week of March last year, but that was with an abnormally warm Jan/Feb.

If we get warm temps this week I may be down for a probe mission. Generally gore and tunnel are the last two rapids to open up from my experience.

Ice bridges on Upper C

I haven't been in to Gore to see if there is ice. But, as of Wednesday, there are several large ice bridges on the stretch between State Bridge and McCoy. I would assume that any of the pools in Gore that sit in the shade all day are frozen over as well.
