How long will Escalante Run?

For those of you who know better than I, what are the odds that Escalante will still be running on Friday and Saturday? Got sick and missed last weekend (almost went anyway). Will probably go if it's still runnable.

The odds are quite good. The temps have been high enough that the snow should still be melting. I'm planning on heading over to Escalante with a crew on Friday and probably on Sunday too.

My guess is still going this weekend, but slim pickings after that. The columbine snotel snowpack is 85% gone and dropping like a rock. Get it while its going...

I'm interested in paddleing Saturday if anyone doesn't mind me jumping on. I'd really appreciate a call (717) 471-4134 of when you'll be putting on so I can make sure I'm there in time. I'll probably camp out through Sunday night if anyone is interested, and there's enough water, to get a run in Monday morning.

Natalie, the helmet belongs to Nick from Durango. He lent it to Adam, who forgot it on my car. If anyone from Durango is going to be at escalante this weekend, maybe they could bring it back to Nick. I talked to Nick and he isn't going to escalante this weekend.

Wish I was there to run it with you... have a great weekend!
