Green River trip outfitting

Howdy,
We have a Desolation permit for June 24. Our group will be coming from Cali and Oregon. We are thinking of having River Runners transport do the full deal so all we have to do is show up, jump in their boats and go. Has anyone had any experience with their rental equip and or food packing. We usually do everything ourselves but we're feelin rich and lazy this year....

Any input is appreciated.

We use RR to do our shuttles, 8-9 times, and have bought gear from thier store in Vernal, I have not rented thier equipment, but have seen what they have in the show room, as well as used gear they have sold, nothing but top quality gear.
They are river people and I believe they would know how to pack a lunch, breakfest, and dinner.
Be safe out there, Dennis

I never rented from them or used their food packing, but I did buy one of their used rental rafts. They turn over their stock fairly frequently so your always renting gear that is just a few years old at most. My raft was 5 years old and still looked new. By the way they take care of their gear I would say they are top notch...

Put me in the "Go with them" camp, too. They are fine people to deal with, over many years.

I've been working with them since January on a June 3 Deso trip. They are a class act.

I know this is off topic but try to camp below Joe Hutch rapid. Great beach with awesome west view and Broken Finger arch in distance. A few years ago a flash flood changed Joe Hutch from a mild class II to a very fun class III. We went through about a week after it happened. hear it has washed out since. Regardless, great camping beach.

Have fun.

So far, They've been great to work with. This will be the first time on the Green for most of us, (all but one), so any inside info is appreciated.
