Okay, I'm sorry for my bad attitude towards the rubber pushers. I'm all for river community, and even pushed rubber more recently than plastic. Sometimes these conversations just get way off topic... which is cool when it changes to what you want and uncool when what you wanted out of this thread was self-support kayak stoke rather than another rafting thread about the Grand. Leaving poop in the canyon is definitely not good stoke.

Great question. I did some online research and thought I found some good options here. But when I spoke to the Grand Canyon rangers they told me that although some of them have the required type III or V rating, none of them are labeled for whitewater use, and thus they won't accept them.
Mattie, we are professionals. Camouflage or not we are going to poach your groover. Not because we can't pack our own out, but because yours will probably have a nicer seat. It might be during the stealth of night... or it might be on your boat in broad daylight... you'll see. See you on the Grand!
