I realize it's a long shot, but my nurse and I had gotten our hopes up (and subsequently dashed) when some folks we knew threatened to bail on a Sept./Oct. Grand trip. They changed their minds and now we're staring at some major vacation time with no place to paddle. Not entirely true, but we'd like to stay in the Southwest.
Sooo .... anyone out there have room for two more on their permit? We've got all the gear, experience, irie vibes and skills with oars or kayak. Plus she's pretty good with a stethoscope. As long as we're out by Oct. 18, just about any launch date will do.
