It's been a while since I haven't had the time, but at one point I was trying to approximate my own by using Google Eath and other map sources to locate them. For example, I have the Arkansas River Guide book, so using his maps and descriptions, I could locate them on Google and get pretty close I think. At one point, I had some for Pumphouse all mapped out and ready to go, then I got a new computer an wiped them all out... LOL
In addition to doing some of the best trip reports, photos and documentation on southwestern US rivers I have ever seen, this guy has put together some great downloadable waypoint files for the GPSr. Highly recommended. I can only dream of documenting my river trips like this guy.
