Yo, Yo. I know you were all starting to wonder if the Mank Crew was dropin out of the loop, but you're wrong! True, I've unfortunately started a j-o-b, but that is merely a means to an ends my friends. I've been putting together some duckets for Eric's wedding...um I mean the Mank Crew road trips East to Asheville! All ya'll do a little rain dance! Let's keep that shit going. Anyway, we've been gittin it here and there. Justin had a beautiful personal first D of Rigo today.

To the point though - I'd like to get the Big South one last time(s) on fri/saturday if she holds. Anyone, Anyone? If not, maybe get West Fork. If not, definitely Bailey. Ben and co, you guys in?

Also, when is the full moon (maybe this fri/sat)? We have to get a full moon run in! Bailey anyone?

Got bear today! Gotta give it up to mark and co who ran bear at 85cfs and cleaned er earlier this year. True honorary members of the Mank Crew. Also it's good to see that the rain dances worked...keep em coming. One week to North Cakalaky!

Tic Tock and ya don't stop. Back from NC. If you have the means, I would truly invest into a trip to the Green. People run that shit 300 days a year and don't get bored. Truly amazing run.

Anyone who reads this post is invited to the Mank crew's joint on Friday August 4 for BBQ and beers. If enough people are interested I'll post directions here, otherwise drop me a line. I'm sure there will be boatin movies and swim stories, so I hope to see every one there.

Anyone up for Gore on Saturday? I want to get a decent start and scout some race lines.

Also, Waterton by the full moon on Friday night. I don't really care what the flow is, but i'm getting a night mission this year. It's always amazing to be on the water at night. Come one, come all.

Hey Joe,

At least a couple of us are planning on heading down there this weekend and Saturday will probably work. Also, going to try to hook up with Kaleb (waterwindpowderrock) who is interested in taking his time down too. PM me or give me a call 970-213-1021.

Yep, you don't really need a moon to hit waterton. It was pretty dark in there until we got to the take out and started partying. Then the moon came over the horizon. I hope y'all got out under the moon this season.
Sorry I missed you rick.

Time for Gorefest! Hope everyone's ready to party down. Comin up friday night and all hell's coming with. Oh, and stay of the tracks.

Also, looking to get a super early morning gore run in on Sept 9. Need to be at pumphouse by 9:45. I'll be putting on at 7am or so and camping the night before. Anyone want some early action?

Gorefest 2006 was one of the best in recent memory! Wished we could have seen highlights all night long on the bus. I wanted you all to see me stomp the Cowboy Line through gore and my wicked boof off Tunnel!

Did you guys get to see that jackass in a duckie cape swim at pyrite and kirshbaum? He must have though he was hot shit in wearing a cape down gore and got beat! Hopefully you all got to point and laugh as hard as I did at him.

Also it was impressive to see living legend Charlie McArthur come out and show all the boys from RCRE, Vail, durango, FR and the Mank crew how Gore gets done. Get that man a new creek boat, you know - for the effort.

Joffe rules! Thanks to Hobe and Dagger for throwing down those boats to the winners. It really added something to the race this year. What a great year of boating, sorry to see it coming down around us. Gore/Bailey season is on! Sunday afternoon anyone?
