peak

Hopefully we'll get a legit peak on the source this weekend, could be rally time finally.

Should be in CB on Thurs/Fri morning 26/27, then heading out to either durango or pagosa area for the weekend. Sounds like a lime/mineral combo is worthy. Maybe treasure?

Still looking good for the real Big T in Montucky fourth weekend, meet you there.

Booth, phone call placed.

Anyone up for tomorrow evening? I could also be persuaded into heading straight from work for Daisey - she's running high. I'd spend the night, try to get a run on OBJ and then get back at a reasonable time on monday. Anyone interested?

Ok, sic plans for the weekend coming up.

Vallecito is dropping into mere mortal flows. I'm headed to high #s or CC Ark on thursday evening, then to Crested Butte. Daisey, OBJ on Friday and maybe saturday. Sunday-wednesday, I'll be back to the durango zone. Vallecito, rockwood, 1st lime, and s. mineral are all on the tic list until wednesday. Any crazy kats gots the time to get rowdy?

Also, anyone for Source/ssv tonight (Tuesday)?

Down the road, I've got July 7-10 (Mon-thursday) off. Heading to the true Big T - the flows should be perfect. Finally, the gnarr season is dropping in. Time to put the women and children to bed and go lookin for dinner.

Actually, I just got a text from Forrest. He's at upper Cherry. Anyone know the flow and drive time? I could forsake CO plans to hit that - leave thursday night through wednesday? Mmmmm.....thoughts?

Joe,

Are you shitting me. Upper C. The flows are probably perfect, the drive is long, and only eclipsed by the hike but the run you will probably never forget. Yes, Valle and the durango zone is good but Upper C wins hands down.

Alright, it's time to keep the trips coming. Big Timber monday through thursday. Who's in?

Upper Cherry media coming to a screen near you soon......but to help with the suspense I'll leave you with this. When it's running, quit your job and go. It's my favorite run without question or hesitation and probably the coolest place I've ever been. The 23 hour drive and 12 mile hike was brutal, but I'd do it again this week if I could. That being said, another boater told me at Flint Stone camp deep in the gorge that the Big Timber was on his top 5. The women have been put to rest for the season, let's go huntin for dinner.

upper cherry's good???? I heard that shit's a mank fest. I heard it's like ssv's mank on steroids. Plus I hear the scenery is piss poor. I'm glad I didn't go. It sounds like one of the worst runs in the US. Fuck California!!!!!
