Aw yes. I've actually been in that eddy. Not on purpose unfortunately. It's good to go at lower flows. There is another eddy I was thinking about - it's river right in the middle of second Steeps, right after a 1 foot boof. I guess I didn't mention it, because I broke a boat entering it once....

I cut out the CMo triple combo in Eye of the Needle awhile ago. Just speed in that section now, and as a rule I only eddy in the big three. I like to run three falls straight through, without eddies... unless it's really really low. I like the center boof at big flows in the real number 3.
Superman is fun to eddy hop. The most eddies I've caught is six, but with really low flow you could get one more. Right eddy, left eddy (ferry setup), right eddy. Then straight sprint at high flow, down river right with a late cut left. But at low flow it goes left (top of tampax), then straight across on the right, then run to the bottom same as meat line.
Two eddies only in Deer Creek. Always grind the rock. The higher the better.
Straight paddle out. Best time is 1hr30min. Probably need at least 400cfs for that though... or a race boat for the flats. Solo runs are usually faster than with a group. I want to run it under a full moon sometime.
Mmm...I'm definitely in for the full moon - we should make that a priority this summer.
Always grind the rock....
I must admit that a shade of extra flow this morning caught me off guard and I almost paid the piper in 1st falls. I better take a look at that one again. Our full time was right at two hours in a blizzard for the 1st half with a leisurely float out.
Yo Mank Crew! I'm out to Paddlefest this weekend and then I'll be roaming the state looking for hot drop the next 8 days. Drop me a line if you need someone to paddle with. Hot hot hot

There's a chance I'm coming to the front range this weekend for some creeking. All depends on flows, but looking at Source of Boulder w/ laps, South Boulder creek, Big T and Eest Fork Clear Creek if flows come up.
Yo kev, long time, no see. Hope you're staying wet. Unfortunately, since I'm on the net, it means I'm at work until this Friday. I then have saturday until the next following sunday off. I'll be at the LOG this weekend, but Source/SB laps could be in the forecast, Josh. Hope everyone's out getting some.
Joe
Shoot man the SSV doesn't have any water in it. It had better get and stay warm for those games. I have to work the rest of the week and don't know my schedule but I am getting three random days off in a row every week so if you are off until next sunday, boating should be in the foreseeable future. (I will probably have Mon, Tues, Wed, off again)
P.S. I am down for some source/SB style

I have confirmation water will be there.
SSV is all snow melt
However, they pull 45 -60 cfs out and divert to Ward. This water will be allowed through for LOG if needed.
Can't say how I know but expect 150 -200 cfs for LOG.
Get SOME BYATCHES!!
There will be no Weak Sauce in Lyons
