Escalante was solid medium (plenty going over the fin) early in the morning on Saturday the 19th and med-low by the afternoon (big rooster fin). Good seeing you all out there!
It's the results for the salida PollPedalPaddle race. Notice Hobie's time (the paddle leg of Doin' It with Two Guys) vs the winning woman's time. Maria lost to a fresh Hobie by less than a minute after she rocked two hours of skiing and mountain biking! Somebody's faster?

Escalante always makes me happy, but I really know the season is here when the Embudo starts screamin my name from 500 miles away. And as most of you know, I need redemption this season (thanks Jared). Looks like she'll be at a fun level this weekend.
Sounds like almost the entire posse is going this weekend, so let's all carpool. I can go tomorrow afternoon through sunday - anyone want to leave tomorrow or super early friday for an extra run?

Damn fine weekend was had by all. Embudo x2 and a med-high escalante run - how can one go wrong? It's good to see all the boys and girls of summer time out there charging.
I've got thurs/friday off. Thinking Embudo x2 again (didn't get enough) or else a cheeseman run on friday with logistics thursday night. Anyone interested?
