hmm, 17 pages later, it might be time to start a new thread for 08 Joe.

I'd love to go, but have plans. I'll be interested in the future seeing how I'll be living down that direction this summer. Great Sand Dunes National Park, so basically Alamosa. Let me know when your coming.

Esca, not likely. The difference on the gunni between delta and GJ needs to be 1000 min. its there now, but several creeks feed that stretch. when the difference is 1500-2000, then esca is likely pumping. Anytime before April 24, I'll go with from Denver, after that I'll be coming from down south.

Atom, thanks for the offer.....I'll be down - you can count on it, but it doesn't look like this is the weekend for the Embudo.

However, I'm going kayaking this weekend. Choices are the Royal Gorge at 700cfs or Barrel Springs at 1300cfs. Any takers. Anyone have a visual that the Barrel Springs dam is still down?

I can hit it Saturday or Sunday or both.

Drop me a line,
Joe

Too short notice for NF, plus the gas is killing me without a posse. Will have to wait. I'm not much of a slush and ice skiing fan - call me spoiled.

Yo fellas. Sorry to those I didn't get back to sooner, but the snow outside the gates at the Basin was deep. No boating happened for me this weekend. I'm going on this coming friday though. Thoughts?

Gettin fired!

hey, i'm gonna say it. I hate to say it, but it looks like my best option for paddling on thursday is the BV/Salida play parks. Anyone interested in going? I'd like to leave wednesday afternoon/evening.

Joe, boating season doesn't start until the weekend after this one. When the embudo will be calling. Do your self a favor and ski at vail or beav on thursday. You won't be sorry (knock on wood).

Joe,

We were on the Royal Gorge on sunday. Its at a great level, with lots of play. You can always go there.

This sunday I'll be at Shosho/Barrel on my way back from Westwater, if your coming that way.

Josh

Or just call Milo and go get an ass kicking in the Black, he would go.

Josh, good thinkin. I could do an early morning run and be back for lunch.

Al - I've got to get into a kayak or I'll loose my mind....but I'll be watching the snow totals.

More importantly, anyone want to go?
Joe
