sounds like an experience, I thought you had a red boat? Is that BoulderJ's paddle that's MIA?

Guilty as charged re: talking mad shit on the buzz, that's all you can do when your stuck inside studying for an exam, but you know its tongue in cheek....

Hope the funnel is still giving in a few weeks, keeping my fingers crossed. I'll have to pack some snake bite antivenom in my safety kit just in case...

Yo, Al. I'm not refering to you as a shit talker...those people know who they are. Yep, BoulderJ now only has one werner. I was thinking, it gets cold up there in Taos, like ski resort cold. Can rattlers hang with that? It sure looks like great terrain for them, but i'm not 100% sure. Anyone have any experiences?

I talk shit on the buzz. I've also stepped over a rattler on the hike-in. I heard a sound that sounded like a bug, took two steps over a rock, and looked back to see a baby that was resting under the rock. Only had about 3 rattles, so the sound was faint. I've heard the babies are the most dangerous. They are definetly in that area.

Glad you guys had an exciting trip. Vallecito on Sunday?

Yo boyz. How was valle? Thanks for the reality check, Cutch.

I just wanted to post that Bear Creek is an awesome run at over 300. I'd say it doesn't even qualify as frontrange mank. It is quality. Good to see all you creekers come out of the wood work every day after my j-o-b. Also, the Pink Rocker is out there dominating! The river gods are gonna get me for that. Boatin hard.

Joe

P.S. Looking for people to hit bear early on sunday and sometime on saturday....takers?

Hey all, it has started again. Joe's Kayak Odyssey 2007 has begun and I finally learned how to spell odyssey. We knocked the Source today. Yes, it was on the low side of the low end of good, but Joel and I both agreed that we had run it lower. Also we have confirmed that way more water comes from Jasper earlier in the season than later on the gauge.

In other news, the Eddyflower vertical challenge has begun. I'd keep my eye on that Huckin Duckie fellow - I hear he's tough and doesn't care about anything.

Bear Creek tomorrow at noon - see you there.

Joe

source

Joe, any plans for the Source soon? or is it gone. If SSV comes back up, I can do after work runs as well as the daylight fades.

Yo all, sorry I've been off the grid for bit. No computer and tons of boating. Unfortunately I've started my first ever real j-o-b. Bummer dude. However, I bet that chick in the pink boat rocked the SSV race, but I didn't get to see the race results. I don't think the source is done, looking to hit it later. Hopefully vallecito will drop and if it does, I'm going thursday morning. Otherwise, USB/NSV or maybe Big Timber. I've gotten tons of positive comments about the new Rocker - call me if you want to paddle one for yourself. Josh - we'll hook up soon - call me wednesday night and I'll have a plan.
Macy - maybe poker thursday night if no vallecito. How's the town treatin ya?
Joe
